Paradise Valley Elementary School Teacher Sentenced to 40 Years In Prison
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A 5th-grade teacher at Paradise Valley Elementary School in Morgan Hill received a 40-year prison sentence Monday after pleading guilty in August to molesting his students. Teacher John Loyd’s four victims ranged in age from 9 to 11 years old. Three were molested at some point during a three-year period from 2012 through 2014 at Paradise Valley Elementary School, and one victim was fondled sometime from 2003 through 2004.
