New Mexico Teacher Charged with Having Sex with Student
A 23-year-old New Mexico teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a male student, KRQE News reported. The teacher, Kellie N. Hurst, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual penetration and one misdemeanor count of distribution of sexually oriented materials to minors. Hurst has also been charged with sending inappropriate photos of herself to the teen. According to the news report, the incidents with the student occurred back in September. Hurst was held in Chaves County Detention Center on a $10,000 surety bond.
