Galt School District Official Arrested On Suspicion of Child Molestation

GALT – Scot Sutton, the Galt Joint Union School District director of business services was arrested Monday on suspicion of child molestation, the Sacramento Bee reported. Sutton, 47, a resident of Placerville, had worked for the Galt district for eight months.  According to the newspaper report, Sutton was arrested after the victim went to Placerville police on Sunday. Police investigators located Sutton in Sacramento County on Monday and booked him into the Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of molesting a child younger than 14. He was placed on administrative leave by the Galt school district on Monday. On Tuesday, Sutton was booked into the El Dorado County Jail.
