Bethyl Shepherd, a former special education teacher at Reed High School, was arrested in April 2011 on suspicion of having sex with two 17-year-old students. At sentencing in January 2012, the judge noted that Shepherd told a mental health evaluator that she had oral sex with about seven male students, ages 15 to 17. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail and given a two-year suspended prison sentence. She pleaded guilty earlier to one of two counts of unlawful sexual conduct between a school employee and pupil, a felony.The judge also placed her on probation for five years. News Source: KOLOTV.com
