  • CARDINAL NEWMAN HIGH SCHOOL (SANTA ROSA)
    50 Ursuline Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403
    Andrew John Medeiros, 25, of Santa Rosa, a basketball coach at Cardinal Newman High School, was arrested in April 2012 for committing a sex act with a student. In addition to coaching at Cardinal Newman, Medeiros also coached for the North Bay Elite Basketball club, and worked as a student supervisor at Piner High School in Santa Rosa. After pleading no contest to the charges, Medeiros was sentenced in August 2012 to six months in Sonoma County Jail. News Source: CBS Local 
  • CLOVERDALE HIGH SCHOOL (CLOVERDALE)
    509 North Cloverdale Blvd. Cloverdale, CA 95425
    Dyke Clyde Dewitt, 65, a teacher’s aide at Cloverdale High School, was arrested in October 2012 on four felony charges of sexual misconduct with a juvenile. At least two of the victims were developmentally disabled. In 2014 Dewitt pleaded no contest to the charges, and in July 2014, he was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison. At his sentencing hearing, Judge Gary Medvigy questioned whether Dewitt had any remorse or understanding of what he had done. News Source: Mercury News
