Mary Gilles, 28, a math teacher at Austin Pacelli High School, was arrested on October 6, 2014 and accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student in February 2014. In December 2014, she pleaded guilty to two of the six counts of criminal sexual conduct against her. As part of her plea agreement, Gilles was sentenced to 15 years of probation, must register as a sex offender, have no contact with minors, and no access to the internet without approval.
