    You Lee Vang, 55, of Oroville, a teacher’s aide, was arrested in Alaska in May 2013 after a Butte County Sheriff’s Detective flew there to investigate him for repeatedly molesting a young girl over a two year period. Lee taught English as a second language to Hmong students from 2000 to 2011. Three additional victims came forward following an extensive investigation. He was convicted of nine counts of molestation and will have to register as a sex offender for life. Vang faces 24 years in state prison at his August 2015 sentencing.
