On Tuesday June 4, Lino Cabrera, a teacher’s aide at Oxnard Street Elementary School in North Hollywood, pleaded not guilty to charges that he inappropriately touched six female students. Cabrera is charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse and five counts of a lewd act on a child under 14.
On May 16, allegations of inappropriate behavior were made against Cabrera. An investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Sexually Exploited Child Unit determined there were at least six victims, ages 10 and 11. All of the alleged victims are students at Oxnard Street Elementary.
