On Monday March 4, Los Angeles County Sheriffs arrested Chee Lim Chook, a former volunteer at River of Life Community Church in Diamond Bar, on seven felonies and one misdemeanor. The eight counts Mr. Chook is charged with include oral copulation with a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, and annoying or molesting a minor.
The arrest follows an investigation that began after an 18-year-old reported that she had been in a sexual relationship with Chook when he was a volunteer at River of Life Community Church in Diamond Bar. According to officials, the woman, who was a member of the church, was 16 when the alleged incidents happened.
