INFORMATION ON CARLOS MUNGUIA

Presently, Munguia faces five counts of child molestation.  All five students were under the age of 18.  Details from the initial filing are limited, but records show that Munguia was arrested on April 12, 2018. The DA’s office declined to say where the molestations occurred or how long he has worked at Hurley Elementary.  He is listed as a fourth grade teacher who is bilingual on the school’s website.

Although five charges have been filed, the investigation is ongoing and more students may have been victimized by Munguia.
